Hello everybody!
Elder Brooks and I had a great week filled with a lot of success. We meet several members and people who were interested in learning about the Gospel. Some highlights were we meet a family of 7 that we will be starting a Bible study with. A part-member family reached out to us about helping their 3 kids get ready for baptism. We also got to drive into the middle of nowhere to meet up with a person we were teaching and give him a copy of the Book of Mormon to study from with us. 30 minutes spent on the highway and then 30 minutes through backroads and dirtroads, haha, it was an adventure fo shore! We have really beautiful country tucked away back here, it was such a gorgeous drive.
Last night we had a devotional with a general authority. He talked about how we had Christ-like attributes in the Premortal Life and how we were valiant and true. Right now our shortcomings are not our true nature but something that we have picked up in this world and we're simply trying to retain our past virtues and remember who we were and what our purpose is. "Put off the natural man and become a saint through the Atonement of Christ the Lord," (Mosiah 3:19). It was a really good message.
Love you all!
Elder Wilson
