Hello!
Sorry for not emailing these past fews weeks. Last P-dat was temple P-day which was hectic. And the week before that, we had to take an Elder to the E.R. because he got whacked in the face with a hockey stick and had a pretty bad gash. So yeah, busy, busy!
Thank you to all who sent me birthday wishes! It was very special and made my day! It's crazy to think that I'm 19 now. It's also funny because had an Elder not reminded me that it was my birthday a week before, I honestly would've forgotten about it, hahaha!
So we have transfers tomorrow and I'll be staying in Hazelwood for another six weeks and getting a new companion (Elder Blood finished his mission and went home yesterday).
I think the best highlight was when a woman came up to us in church on the 4th and requested to take the lessons and join the church. Her mother and stepfather were converts and she was visiting them and had been touched by the Spirit. So we went over the very next day and had an incredible lesson with her. What makes her so special is that she already wants this. And then yesterday, a family friend also came to church with them and requested the same thing, hahaha! What a way to end the transfer! They are both going to be baptized on Sept. 14th, please keep them in your prayers that they can accomplish this and reap the rewards!
So funny story, Elder Blood and I got into an argument while we were with our district leader and our district leader reported it to our zone leaders as a "fight", and they thought he meant fist fight so they reported it to our mission president. So we got picked up by our leaders at 9'o'clock at night and taken to the mission home where we had an intervention from our mission president. Now I had no idea what was happening so it was pretty weird, Haha. When our president found out we had just had a disagreement and that had been miscommunicated to him, he wasn't very happy cause that was his wedding anniversary! What a way to start off a relationship with a new mission president, spoiling his wedding anniversary!
In other news, our car is finally out of the shop as of yesterday and I get to drive again! Woohoo! It's been getting repaired for over a month and they promised it done last Monday so last week was not fun when they kept pushing the finish date back. But I'm happy to put that whole ordeal behind me now!
With Monsoon season starting up and already in full swing for some of you, check out this cool safety video produced by the church!

Love you all! Have a great week!
