Hi everybody!
So this week I got pulled over by the cops for the first time! I was driving at night without my headlights on, I had forgot since the street was so well lit, I didn't notice. I took the advice of some members that I grew with that were cops, and just cooperated and was nice and polite. It turned out alright, got off with a verbal warning and probably a note in my driving record. Oh well! I make sure to double check the headlights now, haha!
We had dinner with our bishop last night and they had a cute, sociable bird so I got some cool pictures with him. His claws hurt a little bit when he got on top of my head but it was still worth it!
On Saturday, we attended a baptism in the branch that borders our ward and it was such an amazing experience! The father had been baptized a month or two ago and now his wife and two kids were baptized as well! It was the best baptism I've seen because it was a family entering the covenant path together.
I love how focused the Gospel is on families. One of our greatest blessings in life is our families and Heavenly Father knows this and has made it possible to be with the ones we love. I am so grateful for the blessing of family and the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
Love, Elder Wilson
