Hello everybody!
It's my last day of being a teen and so I am treating myself to a nice dinner at Lambert's, the original restaurant where they throw rolls at you. It's gonna be good!
On Friday, some of you may have noticed Wheel of Fortune was cancelled last minute. Unfortunately one of the elders got food poisoning from our dinner and we had to hurry home. He didn't make it and so I pulled to the side of the road and let him do his thing. He sadly got it all over the side of the car so that wasn't fun to clean. It was funny cause a car passed by us and a true southern redneck drove by and shouted "just let it all out, just let it all out" in a deep southern twang, it was pretty funny. And while we were stopped there, a beaver came walking by, that was pretty cool to see.
In a missionary Facebook group I am apart of, a missionary asked for an explanation on dinosaurs. I treated him to the following response:
"One of us came up to our Heavenly Father in the creation period and said "hey Dad! Check out what I made! Can we put it on the Earth purty purty please?" And Heavenly Father was like "let's se..... oh dear. Uh sure, we can definitely do that!" And so we put dinosaurs on Earth and then Heavenly Father said "what's that over there?" And while we are looking the other way, He threw a comet at the Earth and wiped out the dinosaurs and went "ahh, I'm sorry kids, looks like your dinosaurs got destroyed. How about we make something new?" And then another kid brought forth a mosquito and we all thought it was cool but Heavenly Father just had a look of defeat and went along with it."
A coolish miracle happened! So we were moving a huge entertainment center for a member and it was very heavy, took 6 of us to move it. Well, while we were carrying it that last little bit, I was on the end with two others. One of them lost there grip and I lost part of mine so it fell........ right on my foot! Now here is the miracle, what should've broken my foot or at the very least seriously bruised it, only my pinkie toe was swollen when I took my shoe off. I know I was protected in that instant and avoided a disaster. What a blessing!
I love you all and hope you have a good week!
