Hello everybody!

Welcome to 2020! I have started a new tradition where I end the previous year drinking Martinelli's and start the new year drinking Martinelli's.

We also needed to get rid of some lamps so I had Elder Sommers pose with them to get a picture so that we could let people know about them. He should be a model, haha!

I am doing well in this area, the work is starting to pick up a bit as I meet with the people we are teaching and see where they are at and what they need to progress.

Something that comes to my mind as we start this new year is goal-setting. That is something they have tried hard to teach the missionaries and I is the importance of setting a goal. President Ballard said “I am so thoroughly convinced that if we don’t set goals in our life and learn how to master the techniques of living to reach our goals, we can reach a ripe old age and look back on our life only to see that we reached but a small part of our full potential. When one learns to master the principles of setting a goal, he will then be able to make a great difference in the results he attains in this life.” In addition to this, we need to make plans to reach our goals. If there is no plan, then a goal is merely a dream or a want. The plan is what puts it into action.
