Hey everybody!
So I got robbed this past week. A bunch of inconveniences but nothing major. Like he took my toiletry bag, my temple belt, and some of my underwear so that was really weird. The other missionaries I live with lost more unfortunately but we're all alright so that's good. While we were doing service for a woman in the ward, a teenager came and slid our kitchen window open (it hadn't been locked) and got in and took stuff. He must've been a teenager cause our window is only a square foot so he had to have been small and nimble. Oh well, life goes on.
Last week we went on a hike as a zone which was pretty. Very hot and humid but also a very pleasant green.
One of the many blessings of serving in this ward is there is a member that owns a butcher shop and so we get free meat every week. Yesterday he did more and cooked up some huge steaks for us and it was so good!
We have a person on date for baptism on July 18th. His name is Richard and he is married to a member and so this would be another step forward of uniting the family for eternity. His only hold-up is he is trying to quit smoking and so please keep him in your prayers so that he can quit and get baptized!
The work is picking up! Life is good!
Love, Elder Wilson
