Hello everybody!
We have transfers tomorrow and I will be staying here in Centralia with Elder Sommers so no changes for us!
Yesterday, I had a really cool experience. We went and visited with a less active member who was super open with us and had a testimony, but unfortunately had some problems with members in the ward that kept her from coming. Not much we can do about that because people have their agency but we can still love and care for them and hope that they will use their agency to come back!
But anywho, the reason why I am sharing this is because she had two foreign exchange students with her, a girl from Turkey and a girl from Vietnam. The Turk was Islamic and the Vietnamese was Buddhist and we had such a cool conversation! I got to learn about their perspectives and beliefs and they learned a little about mine. It reminds me of how we are all brothers and sisters and how similar we are in our pursuits in life. Unfortunately, due to the rules and regulations of them being foreign exchange students, I could not share Gospel messages with them or exchange contact information to keep in touch with them, but I do know that a seed was planted and that I will get to see them again one day. Keep them in your prayers!
I love you all and hope you have a great week!
