Hi everybody!
Yesterday we had a linger longer in our ward and I made some cookies for that. First time of making cookies in about 12+ weeks but they still turned out alright, still got my baking skills and so life is good!
This week I had an amazing reassurance and boost of morale seeing just how many friends from back home are serving missions. It is important to realize and remember that we are not alone in this work, that we have friends and family to support us and love us as we endeavor to bring the Light of Christ into this world. If you ever feel overburdened, take a sec to look around you and look for someone to lean on. And if all else fails, we can ALWAYS lean on Christ because He is a constant rock that never faileth.
Helaman 5:12
"12 And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall."
